Brooke Gonzalez, MSN, APRN, CPNP

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner located in Austin, TX

Meet Brooke

Brooke was born and raised in northern New York. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Rochester in 2002, graduating summa cum laude. She worked as a pediatric RN for 5 years in the Children’s Hospital of Austin before going on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin. She became a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2007.

Brooke is bilingual (fluent in Spanish) and has gained a wide variety of experience working with children from the Andes mountains of Ecuador to our fine city of Austin. She has over a decade of experience as a PNP and extensive knowledge through her previous work in pediatric urgent care, primary care pediatrics, and pulmonology, as well as personal experience raising her four beloved children.

Investing time in getting to know her patients and their families is important to Brooke as she strives to provide holistic care and address their concerns to the best of her ability. She endeavors to take the most medically conservative and preventative approach in caring for each child.

Brooke is an active member at Austin Oaks Church where she loves to help lead worship. In her free time she enjoys quality time with family and friends, listening to and making music (especially with her children), hiking, running, cycling class, reading, and cooking (especially if someone helps with the dishes).
